Diplomatic History Publishes Fatal Politics Article

The latest issue of Diplomatic History includes something I wrote about Nixon's decision to time U.S. military withdrawal from Vietnam to his 1972 reelection campaign. The great thing about writing in a scholarly journal is the opportunity to go in greater depth with the evidence (and include stuff I couldn't squeeze into the videos). The article is called "Fatal Politics: Nixon's Political Timetable for Withdrawing from Vietnam." I hope you enjoy it and that you belong to an institution that has a subscription to Diplomatic History ("the only journal devoted to U.S. international history and foreign relations, broadly defined, including grand strategy, diplomacy, and issues involving gender, culture, ethnicity, and ideology") because otherwise you have to pay to read.
